Mounir is the Executive Director of Information & Communications Technology (ICT), with responsibility for Mubadala’s satellite communications, information technology, and telecommunications portfolio.
Mounir serves as the Chairman across a number of organizations including Khazna Data Centers Limited, the only dedicated commercial wholesale data center offering in the UAE; Cognit, the joint venture established between Mubadala and IBM to be the exclusive provider of IBM Watson in the MENA region;
He has over 25 years of international business experience and has held several high-level positions in sectors including investment and development, real estate, healthcare, retail and venture capital.
Board Positions: Al Yah Satellite Communications Company, Emerging Markets Telecommunications Services Limited, Injazat Data Systems, Khazna Data Center Limited, and Star Satellite Communications Company.
Mounir holds a BA in Economics, an MA in Economics, as well as an MBA – all from Warwick University.
Her Excellency Sara Musallam is currently assuming her position as Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge Chairwomen, along with her responsibilities as a member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
H.E. Sara Musallam is also an active member in various Boards of Directors at leading national companies, namely the National Health Insurance Company-Daman, Al Yah Satellite Communication Company (Yahsat) and Khazna Data Center.
Furthermore, Her Excellency has made major contributions to key vital government sectors in her previous roles as the Executive Director of Private Schools and the quality of Assurance at the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge. And as the Vice President of Aerospace, Renewables and ICT Platform at Mubadala Investment Company. Her vast Experience has gone beyond the public sector as she also worked as Business Analyst at BP International for several years.
H.E. ADEK’s Chairwomen has received her master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah (AUS), and she holds an Applied Sciences Bachelor’s degree in the same major from the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT).
Ananda Bose is a senior professional with experience of over 25 years in consulting firms and telecommunication operators, handling diverse areas such as finance, strategy, wholesale, regulatory affairs, legal, corporate governance, systems implementation
Ananda has worked with some of the largest middle-eastern telecom operators and international consulting firms. Before moving to the telecom industry in 2003, he worked for 11 years in management consulting with international firms such as Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand, mostly in their telecom practices.
In du, Ananda is responsible for the Wholesale & Corporate Affairs department that includes International & National Wholesale, Investments, Supply Chain & Logistics, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Management
Ananda is a member of the Board of Directors of EITC Investment Holdings and Khazna Data Centers. He is also on the Board of Anghami, the largest music streaming company in the middle-east.
Ananda holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Accounting and a master’s degree in business management from India. He is also a professionally qualified Cost and Management Accountant.
