Khazna is guided by a leadership team with crucial firsthand knowledge and experience in both the global and local ICT sector.
Hassan Al Naqbi is the Chief Executive Officer of Khazna, joining in September, 2014.
Prior to joining Khazna, Hassan held various senior positions with du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC), the most recent of which was as Senior Director, Business Support - datamena and broadcast.
Hassan has been actively involved in positioning and promoting the UAE as the new international data hub and comes with rich experience in managing the development and operations of data centers. He also helped in expanding the IP coverage to emerging markets and international hubs as well as enhancing Internet accessibility to contents within the region. Hassan also held various positions with TECOM and was a member of the UAE Armed Forces.
Tinboat has 27 years’ experience, 17 of which were in the UAE’s telecom industry spanning from R&D to operation, customer management, change management to business development and investments. Prior to Khazna, Tinboat worked for EITC “du” on investment opportunities and new ventures in domains like managed services, mobile financial services and fiber network infrastructure. Back in 2005, Tinboat joined Dubai Bank as Data Center Operation Manager with the task to bring in-house IT outsource operation.
Tinboat moved to Dubai in 1999, with Equant (currently known as Orange Business Services), to manage two top key accounts in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) - Emirates Airline and Gulf Air - as Customer Service Manager.
Later in 2002, he moved to Central Change Management Department as Program Director and worked on global integration of “GlobalOne” network post-merger with Equant.
Iyad Khalas is the Director of Operations of Khazna Data Center.
Iyad is an electrical engineer with over 16 years of experience in the UAE. Iyad has a wealth of experience managing data centers and large multi-disciplinary construction projects, varied in diversity and complexity. He is specialized in operations, facilities management, project management, design management and construction management.
Iyad joined Khazna in July 2014. Prior to that, Iyad was working for an international built asset consultancy firm, Arcadis (formerly known as EC Harris), where he managed multi-million dollar hotels, data centers, high-end residential and shopping malls. Iyad has been responsible for managing a number of international consulting firms.
